Portal Sandbox updates

This page is a log of observations, not a developer diary. Nobody published patch notes for Portal Sandbox. What exists is a cluster of title and icon edits, a set of pass creation dates, and several title prefixes that showed up in different caches.

Timeline with the strength of each line. Last checked 30 Oct 2026.
When (UTC)	What was observed	Source	Strength
2026-10-30 04:08	[BACK], public and active; RoWatcher about 2K, RoRizz still maintenance	Roblox universe / games and RoWatcher; RoRizz disagrees	Observed return; exact reopening time unknown
2026-09-22 16:17	Experience created	Universe record	Direct
2026-10-07 to 10-26	Twelve passes created, VIP first, Insurance last	Pass list	Direct dates, not patch notes
2026-10-27 20:58	Public page still titled Portal Sandbox	Wayback	Snapshot
2026-10-28	Two "icon and title updated" events	RoRizz	Tracker log
2026-10-29	One icon-and-title event, one title event	RoRizz	Tracker log
2026-10-29 23:51	Universe updated time; title [MAINTENANCE]	Universe record	Direct
2026-10-30	Another title event; public page unavailable	RoRizz and the game page	Tracker plus page

Prefixes that were seen, not sorted

[UPDATE] showed up in Google's indexed title. [FIX] showed up on Zing and in a Bing result. [MAINTENANCE] is what the universe record and two trackers showed on 30 Oct 2026. [TITLE UNAVAILABLE] is the placeholder on the restricted public listing. Index caches and tracker polls do not share a clock, so a neat "first UPDATE, then FIX, then MAINTENANCE" story would be me choosing an order the sources do not lock. I list them as observed words.

The pass dates are the closest thing to a content log. VIP, custom colors, and custom kill sounds are 7 Oct. Evil Morty's gun is 12 Oct. Rick's Prototype is 17 Oct. Rick Prime's gun is 19 Oct. Insurance, Backpack Looter, and four titles are 26 Oct. Those are creation stamps. They do not say the feature shipped to every server that day. Joinability on the day you read this is the status page, not this log.

Questions

Where are the patch notes?

There is no public changelog. Listing edits and pass creation dates are the paper trail.

Did the game get a new map on 29 Oct?

Unknown. The record says the title and icon changed. It does not say what the build contained.
